Those with smaller caseloads such as in-patient/rehabilitation staff, forensic staff, assertive outreach teams, crisis and home treatment teams and early intervention psychosis teams will need a training programme to teach all of the basic CBT techniques for psychosis along with more advanced techniques to deliver a fuller cognitive behavioural intervention. These would include the use of timelines, macro formulations, behavioural experiments, more advanced types of reality testing and relapse prevention planning.
