Insight CBT Training Courses
5 to 10 day courses that are tailored to team requirements and audiences of 16 to 20 delegates
The Insight CBT Psychosis training courses will help mental health professionals (MHPs) to engage with psychotic
patients in a more productive, interactive way. The courses are designed for di erent levels of expertise:
- Individuals working with high caseloads (e.g. a mental health nurse/occupational therapist or social worker with more than 40 patients or a psychiatrist who might be consulting on 100s of patients with psychosis) who require CBT techniques that can be used in brief sessions.
- Individuals handling smaller caseloads such as in-patient/rehabilitation sta ff, forensic sta , assertive outreach teams, Crisis, home treatment teams and early intervention teams receive a programme teaching all of the basic Insight CBT techniques along with more advanced techniques.
- Experienced individuals including cognitive therapists and clinical psychologists who want Insight CBT learning techniques that allow the delivery of an integrated and advanced form of cognitive behavioural therapy.
